We hebben groepen internationale studenten van de OWL (orientatie week Leiden) die komen boulderen. Het zal extra druk zijn op de volgende tijden:

Dinsdag 25 augustus van half 2 tot 4 uur

Vrijdag 28 augustus van half 3 tot half 7

We will have international students from OWL (orientation week Leiden) visiting. The gym will be extra busy on the following times: 

On Tuesday 25th of August from 13.30 to 16.00h

On Friday 28th of August from 14.30 to 18.30h

Ben je benieuwd naar boulderen? De sport is superlaagdrempelig en Leiden heeft twee geweldige hallen. Je mag altijd binnen lopen, maar we organiseren ook elke maand een speciale Intro Night. Een entree kost slechts 7,50€ en tussen 18:00 en 21:00 is er een trainer aanwezig. Deze zal je een korte introductie geven en de rest van de tijd kan hij/zij je helpen en tips geven.

In Kunststof vindt de intronight plaats op de laatste vrijdag van de maand. Boulderhal Krachtstof heeft een intro nights iedere 2de maandag van de maand. Je hoeft je niet aan te melden, dus kom gewoon binnnen lopen.

Curious about bouldering? It's a very accessible sport, and Leiden has two fantastic gyms. You're always welcome to drop in, but we also host a special Intro Night every month. Admission is just €7.50, and an instructor is available between 6:00 PM and 9:00 PM. The trainer will give you a short introduction, and is available to help and offer tips the rest of the time.

In Kunststof we host the Intro night every last Friday of the month. In boulderhal Krachtstof we host the intro night every 2nd Monday of the month. You don't have to sign up, just show up.

Na het succes van de afgelopen 3 jaar is de BBQ en het disco klimmen niet meer weg te denken. Op 29 augustus bouwen we Kunststof eenmalig om tot echte klimdisco voor alle jeugdleden van Kunststof en Krachtstof tussen de 12-18 jaar oud. Naast een disco met natuurlijk een DJ, mag ook de BBQ niet ontbreken! Heb jij zin in een avond met lekker eten en disco boulderen? Koop dan snel jouw ticket! 

Het ticket is inclusief eten en drinken. In de week voorafgaand nemen we contact op met alle deelnemers om te vragen naar allergieën en dieetwensen. Let op, je kan tot dinsdag 26 augustus kaartjes kopen. 

Ben je nog geen 12? Dan is de kampeernacht op 18 juli wellicht iets voor jou!  

On September 5th, it's Leiden Canal Parade.

We are thinking of climbing first in KRACHTSTOF, changing into our new designed-by-Giulia-and-Tabea-pride shirts, make some signs and decorations together and head to Pride with as many community members as possible for a day filled with love and joy.

Join us for one of our famous gezellige BBQs! This summer we will fire up the bbq once every month (if the weather allows it). 

Bring your own meat and/or veggies to be grilled. We provide the bbq, a grill-meister, salads, sauces and bread. Drinks can be purchased at the bar.

We light the bbq at 18.00 and continue grilling until 21.00-ish. 

Both experienced and newer Magic players welcome, and there might be some preconstructed commander decks available for a player who wants to get into commander, but does not own a deck yet. 

We want to shuffle up at 1800, and plan to stay until the gym closes, so feel free to drop in at any time.  Bring your friends, even if they don't climb!

Guess who is back!!

On October 17th Kunststof is organizing another Kilterboard competition! There will be 3 categories to compete in. Grip expert (5c to 6b), Grip master (6b to 7a), Grip legend (7a to 7c+). Our route setters will create brand new kilterboard boulders for the finals. 

The event will start at 1 pm and climbing lasts until 4.30 pm. After an hour break we will have a finale. There will be a max of 40 climbers for this competition. Please be aware, the starting category is 5c on the kilterboard. The minimum age for the competition is 16 years.

At 7 pm we will announce the winners for every category and hand out the prizes.

Tickets will be €10. This includes your entrance fee. Spectators can come for free! However, if you want to climb; sign up at the bar or check in with your membership. 

The kitchen will be closed at 6pm. However, we will be serving a special vegetarian meal between the event and the finals. Would you like to join us for dinner? You can buy a ticket for €9.50.
